I would expect the translations icon to appear, yes. When you click the globe icon, the urlbar should revert back to its normal state. But I can't reproduce this with the latest Nightly. Here are my STR:
- Start with a new profile
- Set
browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverrideto true - Choose Bing from the chooser
- Type "chocolate" and hit enter
- The en-US Bing page loads
- Click the Bing menu button in the top-right corner > Settings > Language > French
- Repeat steps 3 and 4
- Click the blue globe icon to show the URL again
The translations button appears next to the bookmark star. I tried the same STR with DDG and that worked too. Are you doing anything a little different?

Hi Dana, we've just tried reproducing this, and we can't. Please can you see if this still reproduces for you, and if you can, please can you give more details about steps?

This was a bit of confusion on our part. We rechecked now, all good, this is an invalid bug. Once the search engine lang settings mismatches the build localization the translate functionality and icon appear on the full URL unfurl.
