In the Languages submenu, if I click on a dictionary (either to select it or to deselect it), the menu is not updated (i.e. the selection state is not changed) until I move the mouse pointer over a different item.
To reproduce:
- In a textarea (like this one in Bugzilla), right-click to make the context menu appear.
- Go to Languages, then its submenu.
- Click on one of the dictionaries.
The menu remains open as expected, but nothing changes in it: the dictionary remains selected or deselected. This is just a display issue, as I can see in the spell checking that the new choice is has been honored. If I move the mouse pointer to another menu item, the menu is redisplayed as expected.

I was unable to reproduce the issue you described. After selecting or deselecting a dictionary in the Languages submenu, the context menu closes.
Would it be possible for you to attach a screen recording showing the issue you're encountering, if it's still reproducible on your end?

This is still reproducible with FF 133.0.3 under Debian. Here, the menu does not close when I click on an item (and this is very practical when one wants to click on several items). I've attached a screen recording. On the video, one cannot see the clicks, but one can see that the change of the state of an item becomes visible only when the mouse pointer enters a different area.

Thank you for providing the video. I’ve managed to reproduce the issue on the latest Firefox 133.0.3 version running on Ubuntu 22.04. I'm marking this as "New".
