User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:131.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/131.0

Steps to reproduce:

Go to task view and resize some columns on the left side of the columns list to make them wider.

Actual results:

Because of missing horizontal scroll, the columns towards the right side become smaller and smaller so that the columns become unusable. Bis is bad, because the content of the columns and the column header names become so small that it is not readable anymore. In addition to that, users have to resize the columns manually to make them readable again, but this on the other hand makes other columns smaller so that they can't be read anymore.

Expected results:

When resizing columns to make them wider, instead of making other columns smaller they should go offscreen / beyond the screen and on the bottom of the task list a horizontal scroll bar should appear to scroll the task list horizontally.

This problem is especially bad on smaller screens (like laptop) or when resizing the Thunderbird window to fit half of the screen for example (while having another app in the other half of the screen to work in screen split view).

The same problem exists in the email list.
