I ran my html and css thru w3c validators and included the html that provides
an image that indicates compliance to strict.

The image does not appear on mozzila but it does on IE.

Is the w3c wrong is or is it mozilla.

Displays a box with a blue outline

Expected Results:  
Displayed the image

I think Mozilla should be able to display pages correctly
pages that are validated by W3c including the images that
denote that validation.

worksforme with win2k build 20030209..

Are you sure that you accept all images in edit\preferences\privacy..\Images 
and that you tried a cache clear under edit\preferences\advanced\cache ?
(or a shift+reload)
