Preconditions

Enable Menu Redesign feature from Secret Settings.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigate to homepage and tap on 3 dots menu.
  2. Check the Extensions homepage menu item.

Expected behavior

Chevron icon is not displayed for Extensions homepage menu item considering that the submenu is not displayed in this case.

Actual behavior

Chevron icon is displayed for Extensions homepage menu even if the user is redirected to Manage Extensions screen and not to the submenu.

  • Firefox version: Firefox Nightly 133 (2024-10-15)
  • Android device model: Samsung S24 Ultra
  • Android OS version: Android 14

Any additional information?

  • Chevron icon should be displayed only for Extensions Website menu.

This issue is verified as fixed on Firefox Nightly 134 (2024-10-28) using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (Android 14) and a Xiaomi 12T (Android 12).
