User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3a) Gecko/20021212
Setting:
When using the "Manage Bookmarks" tool, I moved some bookmarks to a new folder
(which was *above* the original bookmarks in the list). The old bookmarks were
still there (it is possible that I fat-fingered myself into doing a copy,
instead of a move.)
Climax:
So I closed the manage bookmarks window & went in again. I deleted the 2nd
bookmark, with the edit->delete menu, but the bookmark remained. Opening the
"new" folder showed the copy of the bookmark as missing. I closed the window &
looked at my bookmarks from the browser menus, and only the correct ("new")
bookmark remained.
Denouement:
I was able to repeat this a few times -- It appears that the delete does the
correct thing to my bookmarks file, but the screen refresh does not (perhaps
deleting the first matching entry it finds?)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Folder in manage bookmarks window showed 1 fewer bookmark (although it seems not
to have deleted it)
Expected Results:
Folder in manage bookmarks window should show same bookmarks, but "root" list of
bookmarks should show 1 fewer bookmark, and "highlighted" line should point to
something else.
