Hello, thank you for the bug report!
Would you be so kind as to answer a few questions so we can investigate this further?

  • Could you please detail the steps to reproduce? Do I need to open the quantity dropdown in order to reproduce this issue?
  • Is the selection made without any user interaction( eg. when translating it changes automatically from 1 to the max number, like in the first screenshot, without any input) ?

I’ve tested for this issue and after the translation from Spanish to German was done, the quantity was still shown as ‘1’.
Thank you.

Hi,

as I described above (exact steps to reproduce error):

  1. open Amazon page (wait for page to be loaded - last interaction!)
  2. observe (NO click) that quantity is set to lowest value (typically 1)
  3. wait (for translation to start, NO click)
  4. wait (for translation to change quantity to max value from list)

I hope this is clear enough.

  1. https://www.amazon.es/Fitbit-Aluminio-platino-Smartwatch-Unisex-Adult/dp/B0B6WRPZCM/
  2. Click dropdown that says Cantidad 1
  3. It says 1 on select menu
  4. Translate the page to any language
  5. Click the dropdown

Expected: It should have 1 highlighted
Actual: It has 30 highlighted.

I would expect Bug 1919230 to have fixed it, but I reproduce on Nightly and Release.

Luckily when you add it the cart, the correct amount is added. So it's more of a visual bug, since the wrong value is highlighted by default in the select menu.

Unfortunately, (for me) it does not add "1" but "30" to the cart. Up to now I recognized it (latest at checkout when resulting a > 1000 € cart value) and I had to correct it manually before placing the order.

Can you confirm that your Firefox is fully up to date and try it again? Bug 1919230 fixed some issues on inputs. If it does add more quantity to the cart it increases the severity of this bug I think. I did a bit of digging and I'm not seeing immediately where the issue is happening. It's a custom dropdown widget, and something is not playing nicely with the translation. I tested it in Chrome and it seemed to be fine there.
