[Prerequisites]:
- Have a user.js for any branch (except Control) to enroll into the experiment.
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the browser from the prerequisites using macOS as the operating system.
- Navigate to “about:support” and search for “Profile Folder”.
- Click on “Open Folder” from the “Profile Folder”.
- Copy the user.js from the prerequisites into the selected profile.
- Restart the browser.
- Notice that the user is enrolled into the experiment.
- Open a new tab.
- Notice the bookmark toolbar.
- “Finish setup” button is present on the bookmark toolbar.
[Expected result]:
- Onboarding “Set Up” checklist experiment targets Windows only.
[Actual result]:
- Onboarding “Set Up” checklist experiment targets all the OSes (Windows, macOS, Linux)

- A video of this issue is attached.
- This issue is occurring also on Linux.

Hi, thanks for flagging this. This should have targeted Windows only. As mentioned in the Jira ticket, this initial round of QA is just to test the feature itself, not the final experiment configuration. We just received final experiment definition on Friday. @jprickett will provide a recipe for the final version for testing on 132 release that targets Windows first run users.

This issue has been fixed on Firefox RC 132.0, build id: 20241021175835, so we can mark this bug as fixed in Release.
