User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 When I compose an email, there are many times when the program crashes after I click "Send". The email I have composed is lost and I have to type it all in again. I propose that all email being composed be saved every once in a while. Much the same as many editors do. Then if the program crashes, the power goes out, or something happens, then the user can bring up the old email and try to resend it. Sorry that this is more of a feature request, but it is a feature that would be nice to have especially if you want people to test buggy software. There are a lot of bugs I will put up with, but losing 20 minutes of mail that I have composed is not one of them. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Run an alpha or beta version of Mozilla Mail. 2. Compose an email and click Send. 3. Actual Results: It sometimes crashes and I have to retype my entire email. Expected Results: Sent it.
A crash bug is critical but an autosave function is an enhancement *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 16360 ***
