This is caused by the embed source: jwplayer beeing on disconnect's tracking protection list.

Unblocking *.jwplatform.com,*.adthrive.com loads the video, but the play button doesn't work yet. (right click on video and play starts the video though)

• jwplatform is classified as content-track-digest256
• adthrive is classified as ads-track-digest256

It seems like the player is still waiting on some signal that an advertisment has been played. However, I couldn't figure out what else needs to be unblocked for the button to become clickable.

This is both due to dep and content being blocked. The remaining necessary tracker to unblock is likely also classified as ads.

Only unblocking ads.adthrive.com wasn't enough for me. I needed to unblock both ads.adthrive.com and pagead2.googlesyndication.com to unbreak the video.
Both domains are on the tracking-protection list.
