User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b; MultiZilla v1.1.32 final) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.3b; MultiZilla v1.1.32 final) Gecko/20030210 when I type in an address in the URL bar and push enter the text just stays there and doesn't get formatted. instead of "http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/" it just says "bugzilla.mozilla.org". Also, when I click thru to other pages from that page, the location in the URL bar doesn't change along with the pages. It keeps displying only my typed-in url Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type an URL in the URL bar 2. Push enter 3. Browse around a bit Actual Results: Nothing. that's the whole problem Expected Results: parsed the URL correctly and display correct page urls as I'm browsing
Summary: text in URL bar doesnt get parsed → text in URL bar doesn't get parsed
I have also this bug. I have upgraded from mozilla 1.2 to mozilla 1.3b and Url bar doesn´t get parsed when I press enter or the go button. It does when I click on the search button. Also I can´t open new tabs or windows nor dialogs (Preferences, cookie manager, etc) I have windows 2000 workstation and I have instaled many extensions prefbar, google toolbar, tab extensions, and probably one or two more that i cant remember now.
Have you tried it without multizilla ? Have you tried to install in a clean directory ? Have you tried a new test profile ?
WFM with build 2003021008 under Windows XP SP1. It formats the URL after a few seconds.
is this still a problem for anyone?
