:jaroschalex1969, could you make sure the following information is on this bug?
- For slowness or high CPU usage, capture a profile with http://profiler.firefox.com/, upload it and share the link here.
✅ For memory usage issues, capture a memory dump fromabout:memoryand attach it to this bug.- Troubleshooting information: Go to
about:support, click "Copy raw data to clipboard", paste it into a file, save it, and attach the file here.
If the requested information is already in the bug, please confirm it is recent.
Thank you.
I hate to bother but has there been any progress on this? Again I do not wanna come off as pestering or an annoyance but I am curious.
I hate to do this but I am going to have to leave Firefox, even after resetting Firefox and wiping Firefox itself, I am still having serious performance issues. Thanks for the many years but two months and no responses with serious performance issues when I pay into Firefox services is not okay. I'm not trying to be rude but with the line of work I do, I cannot afford to having to crash Firefox every time I need to open a new window. Again I apologize but I have been more than patience on this.

I'm sorry nobody looked at this problem that you took the time to file. Looking at the memory report, the big problem I see is that there is a YouTube window leaking, and using about a gig of memory. This sounds similar to the symptoms of bug 1939295, so hopefully we'll be able to fix that and it will help this issue.

Andrew, I believe this may be closed now. Please ask someone to go through all these old bugs and close all performance-related ones: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=youtube
Users feel discouraged to submit new performance profiles when they see this long list of "unsolved" issues (most of which have actually been solved).

I won't bother the reporter of this bug again, but it does sound like this is something that would be fixed by bug 1939295.

I'll go through some of the open YouTube bugs and see if they might also be duplicates.
