Steps to reproduce:
View video in full screen mode.
Press ALT+F9 to record using Nvidia Shadowplay, a part of GeForce Experience.
Actual results:
No recording of the screen.
No recording saved.
Expected results:
A recording should have been made and saved.
Additional info:
A new Profile (with no addons) and reboot did not help.
Other programs and Chrome based browsers let me record in full screen. Gfx drivers and Win10 64 updated.
Back on Firefox 129.0b9 and full screen recording is working fine again.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Can we please get the output of your about:support
page attached to this report?
Also, what are you trying to record?

Glenn, this might be more Canvas, but wanted to run it by you first.

Might be something Sotaro has some ideas about?

Sorry I no longer use that version.
Recordings fail on any full screen such as on Youtube.
I found a work-around.
Opening main Nvidia shadowplay controls (a large overlay) and then press record.
But to start a recording in the background using shortcut keys will not work and no file is even saved.
(and normally an indicator would be visible, but no.)
So I jumped back to 129.0b9 and that one is working perfectly.
Maybe a permission changed?
I tried gfx.canvas.accelerated set to false but it made no difference.
Nvidia drv 565.90 Win 10.0.19045
If you need about:support from latest beta I will of course install and help out with that.
Just need to prepare a little bit.

I tried Nvidia Shadowplay with Firefox beta 133.0b8 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER drv 566.14 on Win11, the problem did not happen for me.
I wonder if Bug 1899454 might be related to the problem.

Hi trekman, can you try if either of the followings work for you?
- Set pref media.wmf.zero-copy-nv12-textures = false in about:support. Restart Firefox
- Set pref gfx.webrender.dcomp-video-hw-overlay-win = false in about:support. Restart Firefox
- Set pref gfx.webrender.compositor = false in about:support. Restart Firefox

I tried. Same issue.
I have now 133.b08. Found something new.
Full screen recording will work IF player controls are visible (moving mouse over) at the start of recording.
Tested Youtube and BBC. A recording indicator on the overlay can also be seen.
I will post about:support now.
