Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 I installed Mozilla 1.3b today. I've added a couple of bookmarks to my bookmarks list. When I quit and open the application again, the bookmarks are missing. It doesn't matter what sites are bookmarked-- just as long as they're new as of today. Mozilla is eating them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Bookmark any URL. 2. Quit Mozilla 1.3b. 3. Launch application-- bookmarks that were added are now missing. Actual Results: My bookmarks were gone. Expected Results: Not deleted my bookmarks. Didn't occur in Mozilla 1.3a
If you use Mac OS X, maybe dup of Bug 192124.
i've experienced similiar behavior running os 10.2.4 with the 1.3b, although slightly different. my imported bookmarks from chimera remain, but if i try to move bookmarks to another folder from the default import locations, or set one of my imported folders as the default toolbar folder, nothing happens. i can create a new folder, set that folder as the default toolbar folder, then drag items to the new folder. but as soon as i shut down and restart mozilla, i have my default imported bookmarks there again. ...very strange.
I have a similar problem. If I bookmark a page it will be saved and stays where it is supposed to be. If I edit a newly created bookmark and click ok it is gone after I quit Mozilla and relaunch. Funny enough, if I edit a newly created bookmark, click ok and then move it somwhere else it will be saved correctly. Also: Please check your configuration: Windows 98 does not run on a Mac!!!
I *know* Win98 doesn't run on a Mac-- when I originally reported the bug, I selected OS X. It still put Win98 as the OS. I've re-selected Mac OS X, so we'll see.
OS: Windows 98 → MacOS X
