User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 My 'default browser' changes from IE (v6.0sp1) to Moz (v1.3b), even if I don't want to, when validating the 'Preferences' dialog, even without any change to it. I am pretty sure that this bug was already there before v1.3b. (The 'Preferences' component is the closest which I know of: feel free to change it as needed.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. (Mozilla being opened) 1. Open 'Preferences... > Advanced > System' 2. Click 'OK' 3. Start IE Actual Results: IE (being configured to) displays a dialog to ask to make it the 'default browser'. Obviously, it will do this at each start, untill it is made the 'd.b.' again. Expected Results: IE should have stayed the 'd.b' all along. At the end of the installation, I choose _not_ to make Mozilla my 'd.b.'. This was honored at that time. My 'Preferences... > Advanced > System' panel is set up like this: *all 'file types': unchecked *all 'protocols': unchecked *'Alert me if ...': checked I am on W2Ksp3. "Workaround": *make IE the d.b. again when prompted for it :->
