Details

This bug is used to collect media files which failed to play via the Windows Media Foundation, but are able to play on Chromium based browser via the ffmpeg decoder. One way of verifying whether the media foundation is supported the file or not, is to play the file via the Windows Media Player.

For example, if we use Windows Media Player to play files from bug 1912764 and bug 1931436, we will get the same error.

After finishing the tasks of using ffmpeg to do hardware decoding for them on Windows, we should test them again to see if they work.
