I'm investigating weather and geoname query performance in bug 1931811. The benchmarks feature has been really helpful with this, and I've written some new ones. However, the feedback loop during benchmark development is a little longer than I'd like, and one reason is that each query benchmark reingests all the RS data. We can do an ingest with a "starter" store and then copy its DB file to each benchmark's store to save a little time.
