I have the same problem using Mac OS 10.2.3 with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 Having used the junk mail learning with 1.3a, I was excited to see that the move to the junk folder was now enabled. Unfortunately, "Run Junk Mail Controls on Selected" now unmarks messages previously marked as junk. Since it doesn't seem to be learning to identify junk mail, I don't know whether the move to the "junk" folder feature works. BTW, the special folder called "Junk" was created.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 I can confirm that the Junk Mail feature is not working, ever, on my IMAP mail. I have a folder of 200+ Spam Messages. I marked them all as Junk. When I try and run the junk controls on those messages, they are all unmarked as junk. Not a single one is flagged. Also, no new Mail is ever flagged as Junk.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210 So, I'm really starting to have "Junk Mail Control" envy of all those people with active Junk Mail controls. As a first attempt to get it working with IMAP, I shut down Mozilla, deleted my training.dat, went back into my junk folder, and marked my now 400+ messages as junk. It took about two minutes to download and scan them all. I shut down mozilla and I now have a 210,318 byte training.dat file. I restarted Mozilla, and ran the Junk Mail controls over all the messages in the Junk Folder. They were all Unmarked as Junk. Next step is to try one of the nightly builds.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030225 Well, no go with 20030225. I just ran the Junk Mail controls against my Junk Folder with 20030225 and it also did not work. All messages are marked as "Not Junk". I'm wondering if this is an issue with our IMAP server? Anybody else having this problem?

My junk filters work with IMAP. Have you marked any mail as not junk? See bug # 188232 - if you only train the filters on junk, they don't seem to work.

My Problem Resolved. IMAP works just fine. I just needed to mark something "Not Junk" that wasn't marked as junk and it started working. I'm glad there is a bug filed against that. :-) g.

reporter (solarisjedi), have you flaged non-junk messages as "Not Junk"? before junk filter start to work, you have to show it both positives and negatives first

Works fine for me in both 1.3 and 1.4 . I'm using MDaemon for my IMAP server (*ick*) but am looking at moving.
