See attached video. When translating (e.g.) from a detected language (here English) to French, then copying the French sentence in the destination input to the source input, French is correctly detected, but English is missing from the destination language drop down.

This should be fixed now that Bug 1970962 has landed.
We no longer disallow same-language translation, e.g. from English into English. Now, this case is just a pass-through of the text.
This means we also no longer have hide languages from the drop-down selectors, so we avoid edge cases such as this.
