The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Sidebar' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
Please let me know if these steps do not work for you:
- Click the gear icon at the very bottom of the sidebar.
- Make sure you have "Show and hide sidebar" option selected in the "Sidebar button" section. Your sidebar now should be in the "collapsed" state.
- Right-click the sidebar icon and choose the "Remove from toolbar option". Unless you previously adjusted the location of the button, it should be displayed in the upper left corner of your toolbar.
If you already removed the button from the toolbar, while leaving the sidebar in the expanded state, please follow these steps:
- Right-click the toolbar and choose the "Customize toolbar" option.
- Drag the sidebar button back into the toolbar.
- Click the sidebar icon to collapse or hide the sidebar.
- Right-click the sidebar icon and choose the "Remove from toolbar option"
