Using the latest falsh plugin, any web page that has flash in it has 1 pixel
black borders usually on the left side and on the top of the flash movie.
It appears that the border is not inside the flash movie but around it because
pages break with exactly 1 pixel because of the border.
Perfect example is macromedia.com - you'll notice how the flash nav bar is
shifted 1px down...
Keep up the great work and the bugs out :-)
Cheers

This appears to be an issue on Linux systems (I've only expereinced it under
RedHat 8). At work I have Win2000 and WinXP machines running 1.3b and this
problem does not appear on them.

It happens with mozilla 1.4a and the flash-plugin 6.0.79 on mandrake 9.1

Happens with Gecko 1.3.4 (Mozilla 1.4a and Flash plugin 6.0.79) on Red Hat too.
1px border on top and left side. Opera 6.12 using the same flash plugin displays
the movies correctly, so the bug must be in Gecko.

Same behaviour occurs with other plugins too, when using the embed tag, tried
with Codeweavers Crossover quicktime and flash plugin, as well as with the linux
native flash plugin aswell.
Mozilla 1.4b didn't fix this problem.

Using Mozilla 1.3 that comes with Mandrake 9.1, the 1-pixel border appears on
all plug-ins (tried with codeweavers crossover and flash 6) on the left and top
edges.

I see this with the mplayer plugin as well.

Is someone working on this? I can confirm that the bug is still present in the
latest (27 november) nightly built with gtk2/xft.

I can reproduce this in every recent Firebird (gtk2/xft) build on Linux.
Screenshot comparing NN7.1 and Firebird/gtk2 follows.
This is a major problem, since (as far as I know) the gtk2/xft toolkit is going
to replace gtk1/freetype as the default toolkit for Firebird.

Shouldn't this bug be a blocker for Firebird 0.8 since GTK2/XFT is the default
set of libraries for *birds?
