User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Join a Teams meeting.
  2. Attempt to share my Firefox window.

I think I first saw this in 133 Beta versions, but it's still a problem in 134. (Of course, it could be a problem with Teams, I'm not sure.)

Actual results:

  1. It appears to share on my end, but for other users, they only see a black screen.
  2. Also when starting to share the screen, Firefox doesn't show the preview of what's in the window.

Expected results:

  1. I should be able to share my Firefox window.

I tried submitting my issue here first: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1477185

Works fine here using Firefox 133.0 on Debian 12 (X11) and Debian Testing (Wayland). Willing to test if you tell me what exactly.

Perhaps it's a Windows only problem?

This might have been triggered by a libwebrtc update, or maybe bug 1908245? It might have been something longer ago though.

Could you use mozregression to narrow down when this started happening?
