I'm seeing the Extensions toolbar menu flicker and resize randomly. See attached video.

The behaviour is not always present, and seems to vary depending on the size of the window.

Seeing this on a few nightlies for 134/135, up to and including 2024-12-08. Wayland + Sway on ArchLinux.

I see you use Sway. Please try Gnome/KDE:

Testing more (in Sway), this seems to be a problem when the menu height would exceed the size of the parent window. I guess the flickering could be due to resizing the menu to fit.

I've also seen this happen today with the “Account” menu, too.

The application menu seems safe. Perhaps this is only for menu with variable numbers of entries:

• Extensions: extensions
• Account: tabs from other devices

I see. It may be fixed by Bug 1916189 - we're missing xdg-popup resize on Gtk3 so we need to hide/show the window if size changes.
