Expected Results: appear as Γ, Λ, Ω. if you're going to be such jerks about this bug as you have been in the past, you might as well scrap quirks mode entirely. because the argument i've seen against this doubles as an argument against quirks mode as a whole. filing as "normal" not "trivial", because this breaks not just the display of a few greek letters but the entire concept of quirks mode. considered filing as "major" but decided against it.
i'd expected entities to work in the text, but it seems you've decided to format it as PRE. Expected results should read: Γ, Λ, Ω.
...funny... i'd pasted those from charmap. oh well, you know the symbol mapping as well as i. i guess mozilla itself posts things that bugzilla can't handle. this is amusing, i suppose. sorry for the 'spam' once again, if you refuse to fix this bug, you invalidate quirks mode as a concept.
