- Affected platforms: Ubuntu24.04.1 + aarch64, Ubuntu 22.04 + x64
- Unaffected platforms: Windows 11 x64, Windows 10 x64
- not tested on Windows/MacOS + aarch64
Steps to reproduce
- Load test page:
http://testsafebrowsing.appspot.com/ - Click 5th link from Desktop Downloads Warnings section.
Expected result
- The download does not start immediately, but displays an error about the risk and asks for confirmation to allow download.
Actual result
- The fine is immediately downloaded, no warning is displayed.
Regression range
- This issue also occurs on the older Nightly v127.0a1 (aarch64).
- This issue occurs in both Wayland and X11 Window Protocols.

For me this also doesn't show a warning on the linux x64 nightly build, so not arm64 specific?

Yes, I can confirm this. Thank you for the investigation! I have manged to test it on a non-ARM Ubuntu 22 myself. I can also confirm that it occurs for both Wayland and X11 window protocols. Than this appears to be an issue that is general to Ubuntu.
I changed the product and component to Firefox Downloads Panel, but it might not be the right component. Feel free to change if a more appropriate one is identified.
