STR:

  1. Enable Sidebar and Vertical tabs from about:preferences#experimental
  2. Expand Vertical tab bar(Ctrl+Alt+Z) if collapsed
  3. Open History sidebar(Ctrl+H)

Actual results:
The Vertical tab bar will be collapsed.

Expected results:
I prefer the vertical tab bar to remain expanded when the history sidebar is opened.

Hi Alice,
We're working on formulating an improved interaction model for expand-collapse-hide behavior, which will include no auto-collapse behavior when you open panels.
