The profile manager currently shows the available profiles in the order they
were created. It would be nice to be able to sort them alphabetically or by how
often they're used. Being able to toggle between having a default profile or
using the last-used profile as the default would also be useful.

How about a capability for the user to rearrange the profile names in whatever order the user wants?
See also bug 94787.

I didn't state it very clearly, but that's what I was trying to get at. There's generally not so many profiles that it can't be sorted by hand easily, and at the same time it can be sorted in any order that's desired (such as how often that profile is used).
This does look like a duplicate dug 94787 the way it currently reads, but that one always sorts alphabetically, where this one is done manually (perhaps via drag-and-drop).
Thanks.
Really grateful for Seamonkey but would really appreciate the ability to move the profile order around. When is this likely to be addressed ?

When marking a bug report as WontFix -- especially RFE bugs -- please provide justification for that action.
While user-oriented profiles seem to be deprecated for Firefox, they are still a user capability in SeaMonkey and might also be a user capability in Thunderbird.
I was able to rearrange my four profiles by editing ,"C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\profiles.ini">. However, this is clearly not a user-oriented method. And I am unsure of what all the items in that file mean.

We don't want to accept any complexity related to this. We won't accept a patch, therefore WONTFIX.

I'd think even doing a simple sort when creating a new profile would address this RFE going forward. It's not a terribly complex change. But it sounds like no changes of any type are being entertained for Profile Manager.
