User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. multiple tabs opens including some Youtube Videos
  2. MacOS Catalina
  3. Firefox 128.5.2esr

Actual results:

  2. Start to see Firefox CP Isolated Web Content above 50% CPU usage
  3. If I close more Youtube Video tabs or use about:memory?verbose to garbage collect, the CPU usage is lower

Component: Graphics: WebRender → Audio/Video: Playback
Summary: FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content CPU Spike → FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content CPU Spike on Youtube

Thank you for the report. I see 40 or more ghost windows from YouTube, so this is probably the same issue as bug 1939295. We released a fix for that a few days ago, so please update Firefox and hopefully that will fix the problem.
