Details |
[Affected versions]:
- Firefox Beta 135.0b3 - Build ID: 20250110123854
- Firefox Nightly 136.0a1 - Build ID: 20250113214519
[Affected Platforms]:
- Windows 10
- macOS 14
- Ubuntu 22.04
[Prerequisites]:
- Have the following prefs set in about:config in a new profile:
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.discoverystream.sections.enabled
totrue
browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.discoverystream.sections.personalization.enabled
totrue
browser.search.region
toUS
- Use an en-US Firefox Build
[Steps to reproduce]:
- Open the browser using the profile from prerequisites.
- Open a New Tab.
- Using keyboard navigation reach a section context menu.
- Press the context menu and navigate to the "Block" button.
- Press the "Block" button.
- Continue navigation using the "TAB" key.
[Expected result]:
- The focus is moved in the modal window and the first element is selected.
[Actual result]:
- The focus remains in the page and the next card is selected.
[Notes]:
- Attached a screen recording of the issue.
- I believe that this is also the reason why a screen reader won't automatically read the dialog box, but it can read it if the focus reaches it.
