Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:134.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/134.0

Steps to reproduce:

I installed Firefox and was trying to figure out if it's possible to subscribe to RSS/Atom feed of a website.

I'm a long time Firefox (and RSS) user and I remember when the icon was removed (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=578967) due to "low usage").

Fast-forward today the web is both more hostile towards regular users as well as riddled with walled gardens that force one to use closed, proprietery platforms...

Mozilla and Firefox are about openness and promoting user-friendly standards and solutions. Pushing back on closed platforms by promoting again RSS would be great way to do it.

There is an awesome idea about that: https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/subscribe-to-a-website/idi-p/26417

Something simplistic but giving a user option to take back control of the web and browsing experience.

Let's make Web Great again! :)
