Hi Mike,

Could you test if setting the pref network.cookie.cookieBehavior.optInPartitioning.skip_list to https://boostr.com,https://looker.com fixes this issue?

Flags: needinfo?(mozilla)

Yes, that fixes it.

Is what they're doing something that should be allowed?

It's because they rely on third-party cookies. We have disabled third-party cookies in Nightly channel, which caused the website to break. The allowlist entry allow partitioned third-party cookie(TCP), so the website can still be functional.

Ideally, the website should start using CHIPS to access partitioned third-party cookies. This way, the website can work without any issues after third-party cookies are deprecated. Currently, third-party cookies are disabled on Safari. Chrome plans to also deprecate third-party cookies in the near future.

Will CHIPS work on any browser? Is there some documentation I can send them to?

CHIPS is currently supported in Chrome, Firefox Nightly, and Safari Technology Preview. There is an MDN page to explain CHIPS.

We plan to ship it soon.
