Details

Steps to reproduce:

I have an email with an attachment, and want to delete the attachment but keep the email.

Actual results:

The menu item to "delete" or "detach" the attachment is greyed out. No indication is given in the UI as to why this operation is not available.

Expected results:

The menu items should be available. (They are available for other mails I checked.)

I do not know what is special about the mail. Looking at the mail sources, the attachment looks fairly normal:

------=_NextPart_001_0054_01DB72E6.16D8C0B0
Content-Type: application/pdf;
name="Theoretical_Computer_Science_ratings.pdf"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment;
filename="Theoretical_Computer_Science_ratings.pdf"

I noticed there is an s/mime signature on the email, maybe that is related? Deleting the attachment will likely destroy the signature. That is fine though; I have to delete this attachment (it contains confidential information that I no longer need and that I am not supposed to keep), and I would rather not delete the entire email with it.

Yep, disabled (per design)
