I am opening this bug to revisit bug 169777.

Env : Windows 98SE. I have been also running the same version of Mozilla on Win
2000, but I do not see this problem there.

Desc : Mozilla seems to freeze at random times. The program does not crash, but
just stops responing, and the only way to stop it is using the Ctrl-Alt-Delete
menu and select the process to force it to end. This has occurred when browsing,
reading mail, changing preferences, or even when starging from a blank page ( my
default starting page ) and trying to enter a URL. This process is not causing
excesive CPU utilization once it is hung, nor is it using excesive amounts of
memory, it just seems to have stopped.

Action taken : I have run through the suggestions given in bug 169777, e.g.
removing the XUL.mfl ( supposedly "corrupted" ) file does not resolve the
problem, since it keeps happening almost everyday. I have experienced this
problem more often when I have the "Quick Launch" option turned on, but
regardless of this setting the problem still occurrs. 

Plan : If there is any additional information that I can include, please let me
know. Also, if there is a way to force a "coredump", or enable any of the debug
tools, please let me know.
