User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030210
I moved from Moz 1.3a to 1.3b on the Mac OSX platform. Afterward I could not
save changes to my bookmarks file. No bookmarks I added stayed after restarting
Moz. I moved my bookmarks.html file aside and tried creating a new one. I am
able to make one or two changes to the bookmarks, using "Manage Bookmarks". Any
more changes get lost when I restart Moz. I am shutting down Moz using the cmd-Q
key strokes.
This seems to be related to bug report 188401.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Moz and choose the default profile user.
2. Go to site A.
3. Bookmark Site A.
4. Go to site B.
5. Bookmark site B.
6. Go to site C.
7. Bookmark site C.
8. Open "manage bookmarks" pane
9. Create new folder AAA.
10. Move bookmark for site A and B into folder AAA.
11. Create new folder BBB.
12. Move bookmark C into folder BBB.
13. Close "manage bookmarks" pane.
14. View bookmarks.
15. Exit Mozilla.
16. Start Mozilla again.
17. View bookmarks.
Actual Results:
The new entries are in the bookmarks at step 14. At step 17 they are gone.
Expected Results:
It should have saved the changes to the bookmarks.html in the correct user profile.
