if you go to http://members.xoom.virgilio.it/dreamfield/facua%20vacanze.htm I get a Downloading dialog 20030221
wfm using build 20030222 on Solaris 8 Sparc and build 2003022008 on Win2k.
Attached image screenshot
wfm with win2k build 20030223.. and Mozilla 1.0
WFM OS X/2003022203
WFM with 20030221(08) on win2k. Henrik - can you reproduce this? any proxies? pipelining?
Sounds like you loaded the site when the server was sending no content type, and you have it cached that way now....
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030223 that box is endless repeating, for this screenshot I aborted manually after the 3rd repetition.
WFM 2003022308 trunk win2k. Henrik, Hermann: i'm curious what kind of connection you guys have. are you seeing this over a modem line?
Henrik, Hermann: also, is this 100% reproducible?
damn... stupid me. It was my proxy (Proxomitron). Even if I put in on "bypass" it still seems to be active saying: HTTP/0.9 200 (No headers) Server: Unknown, missing HTTP headers Content-type: unknown Accept-encoding: gzip, deflate

re comment#8: Yes, it was reproducible. At first try, I let it run till the screen was full, and a minute longer. Than repeated it to get a smaller screenshot. Connection: ISDN 64kbit, downloads of mozilla-nightlies are running with 6.4 to 7.5 kb/sec, Celeron 333 with 96 MB RAM, 8 MB graficscard SiS6326, Win98 SP1 now testing at work: WFM Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030223 Build ID 2003022308 DSL-connection, Athlob XP1600 with 512 kb RAM will retest at home
re comment #9: here retested comment#7 with my default profile: looping like shown in attachment with a fresh profile: working I know I got an error in my profile, but I don´t want to fiddle around with my mail accounts, saved cookies and passwords. Sorry for the spam :-(
