Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030211 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030211 I can not type accented chars anywhere in Mozilla 1.3b. It was fine before I upgraded from Mozilla 1.2.1. My keyboard is pt_BR (Brazilian ABNT II) and is working right in others applications. In Mozilla I can type special chars like 'ç' but not 'ã' which is a combination of '~' and 'a'. I cant even type '~' here. My workaround by now is Copy and Paste from other applications. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to type 'ã' ('~' followed by 'a') in a text field in a form 2. 3. Actual Results: I got an 'a' (accent keys not working) Expected Results: displayed 'ã'
Is this an XFT/gtk2 build, or a normal one (which exact file did you install from?)
I installed the RPMs for RedHat 8.0 from Mozilla site: mozilla-1.3b-0_gtk2_xft mozilla-mail-1.3b-0_gtk2_xft mozilla-nspr-1.3b-0_gtk2_xft mozilla-nss-1.3b-0_gtk2_xft mozilla-psm-1.3b-0_gtk2_xft
