User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (Squid; I86; Linux) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20021130 Whenever I choose Print Preview from the File menu, Mozilla hangs entirely (using 100% CPU), and must be killed with task manager. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Choose Print Preview from the File menu Actual Results: Absolutely nothing - the screen does not redraw (the menu with the print preview option remains visible) and no operations on Mozilla windows function. Expected Results: Display the Print Preview
Have you tried to delete the file "xul.mfl" in your mozilla Profile while Mozilla is not running ?

I've just searched my entire hard disk, and cannot find any files of that name. In fact, the only *.mfl files I have are in my system32\wbem directory and appear to be part of Windows (one of them at least has been updated as part of a service pack, according to the backups I have).
See the release notes for the Mozilla Profile path. One Directory is marked hidden (application Data) and you must configure Explorer to show hidden Files and directorys.
OK; that fixed it. I've kept the original in case it would be of any use in debugging the issue?
thanks, this is already fixed :-) BTW: the filename for Linux is "XUL.mfasl" We would need this file if you used Mozilla 1.3b or later.. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 169777 ***
