User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:109.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/115.0

Steps to reproduce:

(Using Firefox 115 esr)

  1. Use the option to automatically generate a password.

  2. Manually edit that password so it is compatible with the site's requirements-- a certain number of capital letters, some special characters, not other special characters, etc.

Actual results:

  1. Firefox remembers the unedited version.

  2. about:logins continues to show the unedited version.

  3. I can't get Firefox to remember the edited version.

  4. I can't edit the passwords in about:logins.

Expected results:

  1. Firefox should remember the edited version.

  2. Firefox should allow users to manually edit passwords in about:logins.

My bad, there is an edit button, it's just not where I'd expected.
