Interesting! When I turn off 'Use recommended performance settings' and not click 'Use hardware acceleration when available' and reboot Firefox. The address bar shows as normal. When I click 'Use recommended performance settings' and reboot Firefox. The address bar shows very dark.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Installer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.

Moving to Graphics since the reporter mentioned that disabling Hardware Acceleration fixed the issue. It's also worth pointing out that in the screenshot provided, the selected tab looks dark too.

This looks like a driver bug. We had something similar with windows on ARM (qualcomm) a little while ago which was worked around by shuffling some code around until the driver bug stopped happening. It's rather difficult to deal with without having access to the specific hardware.
Could you copy-paste here the contents of the graphics section of you about:config page? It contains valuable information about your hardware and driver configuration.
here are some information

Hello! Thank you for submitting this issue I have tried to reproduce the issue on my end but unfortunately I wasn't able, with Firefox 137.0a1, Firefox 136.0.1, Firefox 142.0a1 and Firefox 141.0b3 on Windows 11 ARM.
Could you please answer the following questions in order to further investigate this issue?
Does this issue happen with a new profile? Here is a link on how to create one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles
Does this issue happen in the latest nightly? Here is a link from where you can download it: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/
Do you have any addons installed? If yes could you please list them?

Thank you for your investigation. This issue still occurs in the latest version of Firefox. Even after reinstalling Firefox and creating a new user profile, the problem persists.

Howdy! I'm able to reproduce this issue. My device is an SQ2 Surface Pro X running Windows 11 25H2, build number 26200.7705. Firefox version is 147.0.3 (aarch64).
This is on a fresh Firefox install, only configuration I've done is log into my Mozilla account but it was showing artifacts before I did that. I checked my settings and I am using the recommended performance settings.
Thank you!
