Steps to reproduce:
When using Meta Messenger and just leaving it for a minute in the background it starts to cause high CPU load.
Actual results:

I've recorded a profile. The tab is constantly sitting around 80% CPU load and causing my laptop to overheat.
Expected results:
I expected it not to cause any issues and have low CPU usage since I wasn't using the Messenger in any way.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Performance' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please correct in case you think the bot is wrong.
The issue seems to be caused by uBlock Origin blocking an endpoint, which caused this excessive CPU load. But I wonder if it's possible to prevent such things, since uBlock Origin is widely used.
In particular these two:
