We're currently in the process of moving app-services code to moz-central. As part of this process, we should migrate and update documentation to from various places in app-services to firefox-source docs.

Here's a partial list of things I think we should move:

  • HOWTOS, especially "adding a new component", "building a rust component", and "locally published components". These will certainly need to be updated after the mono-repo migration.
  • design.
  • ADRS (maybe these don't need to be published in firefox-source-docs, but we should keep them around somewhere).
  • Other items from the app-services book. I believe most of these are generated from the above docs, but maybe there are some other things as well.
