Steps to reproduce:
- just listen to any audio from YouTube over Bluetooth earbuds.
For a while now (still present in 136.0b7), audio from YouTube has been clicky over bluetooth earbuds (Sony WF-1000XM5) on my Samsung S23U (Android 14, One UI 6.1, Google Play January Patch level on both - this doesn't happen via the speaker, nor in other applications.
While it does seem the "clickyness" has reduced, it is still present in the current beta build.
Yesterday I started poking the developer options and turned bluetooth audio from AAC to SBC (and then LDAC) - not more clicking!! - Hence, whatever it is, is linked to the AAC use... (Incidentally, the AAC also sounds way more muffled, dare I say crap than SBC for some reason... Overcompressed?) - Potentially there are two issues here, one the AAC interface in Firefox, the other either Sony or Samsung with the muffled sound over AAC compared to SBC.
Actual results:
Audio has regular annoying clicks that make it a displeasure to listen to.
Expected results:
Audio should stream smoothly.
