Mozilla freezes completely each time I open preferences, select Advanced /
System and press OK.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Preferences.. / Advanced / System
2. Click OK

Actual Results:  
Preferences window remains open. Mozilla does not respond any keyboard or mouse
activity.

Expected Results:  
Close the Preferences normally.

The problem occured when I created a new profile and started to edit the
preferences (Mozilla crashed a couple of times during modifying the prefs, but
that is another story). Because of the crashes, I started modifying prefs
section by section and closing the prefs dialog between the changes to track the
problem.

I was able to reproduce this even in a new profile.

Gif, Png and some other image formats have been disabled in Prefs / Advanced /
System.
