Mozilla consumme processor time (up to 99.9% with a Athlon XP 2000), and memory (256 Mo). When memory is exhausted, Mozilla crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.click on open composer button 2. 3. Actual Results: Mozilla crash as described up Expected Results: Open the composer page Just after installation, this feature work properly. The problem appears sundenly, without change in the system configuration.
This work for me in the 2003-02-27-09 Linux trunk build under RH 8.0.
Reporter: Please close Mozilla and delete the file XUL.mfasl in your Mozilla profile. (see the Release notes for the path) After that you open this bug URL, select "( x ) Resolve bug, mark it as duplicate of bug # 169777" and hit the commit button. BTW: This bug is invalid because you use an build older than 2 weeks.

Can anyone reproduce this bug? If not, this bug will be resolved as invalid or as a duplicate in the next day or two.
deletion of file XUL.mfasl and the file lock resolved the problem.
