Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit a page lacking a <title>, e.g. about:blank.
  2. Try to add or edit an existing bookmark for the page, from the ⋮ menu.

Actual results:

A blank screen appears. Has system nav buttons and status bar, and is same background colour as usual menu/settings pages, but no edit form.

Expected results:

See the bookmark editor.

Confirming this issue as I was able to reproduce this on all Fenix versions: 136.0.1, Beta 137.0b5, Nightly 138.0a1.
Tested with Google Pixel 6 (Android 15).

This is not the duplicate, the other one is, and it's not just about:blank, so I don't know why the title was changed to that. I first noticed it because I tried to bookmark a regular page that just happened to have no <title>. I only suggested about:blank because that's the easiest title-less page to use.

Agree, this is not a duplicate. Re-opening and editing the title.

Hi Jeff,
I am unable to reproduce this on Nightly 139.0a1 from 4/15, nor on Firefox for Android Beta 138.0b7.
Still reproducible on Firefox for Android 137.0, and 137.0.2.

Tested with Samsung Galaxy A14 (Android 14), and Google Pixel 6 (Android 16).
