User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030212 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.3b) Gecko/20030212 Manage bookmarks -> Import... Import bookmarks into Mozilla. Close the manage bookmarks window. Exit out of Mozilla. Restart Mozilla. Note that the imported bookmarks have disappeared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Bookmarks -> Manage bookmarks 2. Tools -> Import... 3. Select a exported bookmarks file to import. 4. Close the Manage bookmarks window. 5. Quit out of Mozilla. 6. Restart Mozilla. Actual Results: Mozilla restarted with the default bookmark setup. Expected Results: Saved/preserved the imported bookmarks file and launched with the changes incorporated. I'm currently testing to see if individually added bookmarks are preserved across restarts.
Checked and confirmed. No bookmark changes are being preserved across quits/launches of Mozilla. The default comes up every time.
This has been fixed in newer builds of Mozilla. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 192011 ***
