I'd like to research the following suggestion:
<rocWork> people who cannot file confirmed bugs are not allowed to file bugs at
all during the alpha cycle

In order to do that, i'd like an option in edit products per product to disallow
filing of bugs by people without a given flag (canconfirm/editbugs).

I expect that the flag would be toggled each time we switch from alpha to beta
so it really has to be a simple checkbox in edit products.

WORKSFORME on the tip.

Look for the "entry" checkbox in the group settings for the product.

Just for completeness: :)  checking the "entry" box next to the "canconfirm"
group in that product's group controls would achieve the above-requested result.
