Environment:
Operating system: Windows 10
Firefox version: Firefox 136.0/138

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to https://howdy.care/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/RT-INFO-DK.mov
  2. Observe the page.

Expected Behavior:
The video can be played.

Actual Behavior:
The video cannot be played, an unsupported video format message is displayed.

Notes:

  • I've downloaded it and seems to be a HEVC video
  • Reproduces regardless of the status of ETP
  • Reproduces in firefox-nightly, and firefox-release
  • On Chrome the video gets downloaded when accessing the link
