19585 - [PP]No response when clicking on a link in email

Status: VERIFIED DUPLICATE of bug 20597

Description

Mac (1999-11-22-08 M12)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger using the -mail option
2. Select the attached mail
3. Click on the Form (hypertext) in Item 2, list 1 of this email

Actual result: No response

Expected result: should display the form page like Win_nt does

This does not occur on win_nt 4.0

On Linux it crashes (bug 19584)

This has nothing to do with forms. This is the bug where clicking on a link in
messenger doesn't open a new browser window.

Fenella, you need to have a browser window open in the back ground in order for
uri dispatching to properly route your hypertext link to the browser window. Or
am I missing something?
