Steps to reproduce:
- Open Firefox for Android.
- Click 3 dots.
- Click Settings.
- Scroll down and click 'Open links in apps'.
I want to disable 'Open links in apps' for one domain or site like youtube.com but enable for any other site/sites.
Basically a blacklist and/or whitelist to for this feature.
This is currently not possible.
I am aware you can block it in Android settings for the app involved but the problem is that this will block other non-Firefox apps too.
I think it should be browser-level setting.
This is a simple enhancement request for 'Open links in apps' feature.
Actual results:
There is only All or Nothing setting for 'Open links in apps'.
Expected results:
Firefox for Android should support per-site/per-domain setting for 'Open links in apps'.

This would be fantastic! The cognitive load of choosing every time is gruelling. For disabled people with limited cognitive capacity, this reduces available capacity for other tasks.
There is no workaround when:
- some domain/subdomain links must open in the app for functionality, but the app registers other domains the user does not want to or cannot tolerate opening in the app;
- user does not want links to open in an app while web browsing, but wants/needs links in other apps to open that app, e.g. QR code reading.
When either of these no-workaround conditions is true and the user wants/needs even one domain link to open in an external app, they currently must choose for every link, every time.
Here's one personal example:
- I browse my feed (Google app, by swiping right);
- I can't click on items, due to lack of content filtering for flashing elements;
- I click Share → Firefox;
- Firefox immediately asks if I want to leave and open this search.app/page-redirect-id link in the Google app;
- I answer no, I was just in there and shared the link to Firefox to view with accessibility!
For each domain/subdomain, the user should be able to choose Never/Always/Ask, just like with permissions in Site Settings → Exceptions.
